What's the most overlooked aspect of League of Legends?
The mindset. Everyone talks about what champions are the best to play, advanced strategies, item builds and runes. But little people care to speak about your mindset. Everyone knows the satisfaction of winning a hard match with a lot of back and forth and maybe even a backdoor. And you also know the opposite side, losing after being ahead all game long. Try to remember how you felt after each situation. I feel really good after a win, positive, pumped ready to face new enemies and stomp them. And after the loss I used to feel down, unhappy and frustrated. When looking to climb fast efficiently you really need to clear your mind after a loss otherwise it will negatively affect your gameplay. You want to keep the positive vibes after a win and use this boost of morale to keep on winning. The key is taking breaks after a loss. You just do something else, grab something to eat/drink, go pee and listen to your favorite tunes. It is very important to shift your mind away from the negativity. Tilting is very common and loses a lot of solo queue games. Everyone knows this guy that starts a surrender vote after a single person get's caught and your still ahead. Some of them are just trolling but others are actually serious. And that's what you especially find in low elo. You lose focus and waste time by complaining in chat and even by reading it. So if you know that you are the better player and you, therefore, take all the kills and someone complains like "omg why do you ks" or "cmon" and so on just go ahead and mute them. Even if you think you are tilt-proof, subconsciously it is going to affect you. I used to teach people on what they can do in order to improve but people don't want to hear this, they think they are playing perfectly and it's just their team losing their games. Admit failure and don't be stubborn be a nice teammate and only write positive things like "gj" after a successful gank or a nice outplay by one of your laners. Limit your time spent on typing to a minimum, only give useful information for example "enemy jungler is botside care" and use the pings. Ping that your laners just burned his summoner spells, ping that they just hit level 6 or that they are missing. Sometimes people don't notice a single ping so if you see that your laners don't react ping a couple more times with a back ping without being annoying. And if you notice that your teammates are ignorant do not bother to use the mute function. And please play on a smurf account when learning a new role or champions. If you are still looking for a place to buy a lol account that is the best website to buy a lol account. n this post I'm going to tell you how to effectively Smurf in lower elo and therefore reach a high win rate.
I used the following techniques for my personal smurfs and also for boosting. It's a lot about mindset and mindgames play a big role in general. You look to punish the mistakes harder than there normal enemies would and exploit as many of their weaknesses as possible. The following tips will be for junglers: In low elo most laners don't cover the buff entrances so you can easily start your jungle route at there non botlane buff. This trick works because most low elo junglers will always start at their botlane buff no matter what and laners just are just afk at their turrets and don't care about the jungle. So you sneak in ( preferably with the help of your toplaner ) and just take the buff away and leave a ward/ ghost poro behind. If you're clear is decently fast you can also take a second camp to set the enemy jungler behind even further. This simple trick will already give you a level advantage that allows you to duel a lot more and win out in counterganks. That's why I would recommend to picking a strong early game jungler that is really good at dueling and killing enemies. Some examples are Lee Sin, Elise, Nidalee, Rek Sai and so on. There are various advantages if you approach every game with the intention of snowballing. Firstly people in lower elo are very easily tilted. After first blood, some people already write something like "gg", "lost" etc.. The next reason is that you win your games much faster and therefore more time efficently. Winning 2 games might only take you 40 minutes while playing a single game where you pick a tank jungler will also take 40 minutes or even longer. Ok so we got a nice lead and got a nice gank of and might have killed the enemy jungler once or twice. What do we do know ? That's quite simple kills alone won't win you the game so you have to convert this lead into objectives. This means that you should get free drakes whenever they are on the table, get rift herald ( especially underrated in lower elo ). After a successful gank push out the lane and if you know that the enemies won't come to defend ( or won't be able to) just go ahead and take the turret. After cracking open some turrets the map gets more open. You should get wards down in the enemy jungle to catch the enemies off-guard and track everyone down. At some point in the game, you might be so fed that you should only take your own jungle for red and blue buff and acquire the rest of your cs by constantly counter jungling and pushing lanes. After these steps, you should be able to finish games early and efficiently. In my next posts, I will explain more about the mind games and how to play them properly. Camping a lane can be very efficient at times and can render an enemy completely useless. I will go into further details in my following posts.
